Things warm up slightly in March in Mallorca in the Balearic Islands, when the average temperature is 12°C (53°F). At this time of the year, highs of up to 17°C (63°F) are common, dropping down to a chilly 6°C (43°F) on an evening after dark. Pristine beaches, incredible caves, ancient ruins, forts and castles (that date back to the Romans) are some of the exciting choices for exploration. There is fabulous shopping as well, from upscale shops in Palma to local weekly open air markets at most towns filled with local crafts and produce. Or rent a car or taxi for the day and drive the rugged scenic coastline for an incredible photo tour.
The cost is only $100.00 per person per day but priceless memories are forever!
